I'm trying to replace the aluminum upper shaft of the handle on an Oreck XL 2600HH vacuum. I can't get the plastic handle off of the upper end. Suggestions?

ReplyDeleteSorry I'm not familiar with that model. Based on the parts diagram, it looks like it should slide right off -- no screws or anything holding it on. Can you twist it side to side to loosen it a bit?
